Gene Costa - Owner

Gene Costa has been in the restaurant business for 40+ years. He was brought up under the tutelage of his father and was third generation to a landmark restaurant in New York City that was given a proclamation in Manhattan’s City Hall is in the history books of New York City. You will see this proclamation proudly displayed here in our restaurant.

Claudia Costa - Owner

Claudia Costa has been in business with her husband Gene here in Wilmington for over 14 years. They have worked side by side from the time they first began their business in Wilmington which was All About Food to the now prosperous Bon Appetit Restaurant and Catering.

Laura Garst - Director of Catering and Event Services

Laura Garst moved to Wilmington 8 years ago to finish her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Laura loved Wilmington so much she did not want to leave! She joined with Bon Appetit 3 years ago and will take every client by the hand to plan their special event.

James Mathews - Executive Chef

James Mathews, a graduate from Johnson and Whales Culinary Institute, joined forces with Bon Appetit after his time with Porter's Neck Country Club and the Shoal's Club on Bald Head Island. James helps formulate and execute spectaular menus for all of our personal and corporate events.
